Kepuasan Dalam Bekerja – Self-Satisfaction in doing jobs

This morning , woke up a bit early .. switched on the MythTV,
and amazingly morning slot is far more informative ..

The slot was “Motivasi Pagi”, this time talks about self-satisfaction in doing job.

It merely not ALL about the money that would make us happy with the job.
Sometime as a programmer , they wouldn’t mind to spend tremendous hours to get application
running as for them, the (working and benefit) result = output is much more value-able.
Is not how much the pay for each application, but how we would see the product of our
own effort finally realized and appreciate. 🙂

And I believe this is not only for that one particular job,
others also might be relieved (and having some sort of satisfaction) whenever seeing
their patient finally can recover and walk away just like that.
Well, different people have different aim and different set of skill, some might be
just being satisfied enough with the “series of allowance”..
– elaun rumah, elaun tol, elaun minyak, elaun parking, elaun lebih masa, elaun
sara hidup, elaun kesusahan, elaun OT(Operation Theatre ).. and many more of “allowance” type
and some are bigger than the basic salary itself.
so that we not affecting or depended only on basic salary.. which could be relatively small compared to other job.

One thing is, we do not have to make comparison each time,
In order to be happy, you need not to compare :
– what the guy next of your desk are having/getting.
– how much the guy at one of another company are having.
– how well benefit someone else are getting for their part.

But the most important thing is , “Nawaitu dalam melakukan kerja”..
“adakah hanya semata2 wang.. dan duniawi ?”
.. our most important asset to be contributed to the company is “our own life time”.
So .. give the fullest and get the fullest out of it..
the “best” product from our own hardwork.. would be giving much more self-satisfaction..
at which even the “RM 10k” would not able to buy or make the same feeling about it..

the analogy for this was the musician are making their music and lyric not mainly
for getting the hi-Volume sales .. but the art from their music and lyric itself
already had their own satisfaction in that sense.. well appreciated , accepted… kind of sense
at which money can’t buy..

“if we are not happy with the job.. and not meant to be at it..
just leave it.. and NOT wasting anyone else time..”

mumbling around and comparing around would not make any different and eventually will just kill the ‘spirit’
inside us .. at which would otherwise empowered us toward better contribution and achivement for our own
and also for the “company” we are working for..

p/s : anyway.. for everyone out there who are doing great job in their field… “keep up the good work..guys..!”
