Just because am so curious , I ordered the Raspberry Pi 2 board almost immediately upon
knowing it have been released.
The excitement of opening up the box and getting it running,
remind me of the “kid inside me”. 😛
I somehow love the passion for electronic and these gadget stuff.
Anyway , upon booting up , I would have to hook it up to our big Samsung TV screen.
as my old monitor/LED screen doesn’t have HDMI port .
For the O/S , this time I opted to ArchLinux for development simply because
my favourite perl interpretator is ready for that..
of course with some trick .. the board is up and running.
Hopefully will be able to write those step in next few days.. 🙂
hey can you do a tutorial for interfacing an LCD with the PIC18f4550 using the Hi-Tech C compiler? I’m having a lot of trouble simply getting the LCD to say “Hello World”. Thanks.

The PIC18F4550 I am using is a different model from yours, mine is a TQFP structure. If I follow the general connections, use the PickIt 2 to load my hex code into the microcontroller, it should be possible to work right?
